Upgrades lift CoreWeave, Datadog and Amazon as Wall Street buys the dip

Analysts at Goldman, Bernstein and Morgan Stanley turned more positive on AI-linked names after last week's sell-off.

    HedgeWeekly News Desk ·

Several brokers used last week's tech sell-off to turn more positive on AI-exposed stocks. Goldman Sachs upgraded CoreWeave to buy with a $139 price target, and the shares rose about 6% on Monday. Datadog gained almost 5.5% after an upgrade from Bernstein.

Morgan Stanley named Amazon a top pick and raised its target to $350, helping the stock gain nearly 5%. JPMorgan lifted Intel to neutral, which pushed the shares up about 4% before the open.

Not every stock joined in. Fertilizer maker Mosaic, power producer NRG and wealth manager Ameriprise each fell more than 3%. Amazon reports third-quarter results on October 29.
